Detroit Economic Growth Corporation

DEGC hopes to help small, local, women-owned, and minority-owned businesses find sustainable growth that increases diversity in Detroit’s small business supplier ecosystem. Through interviews with suppliers, surveys, journey mapping, and design iterations we suggested a plan for educational opportunities to reach DEGC’s goal of supporting suppliers.

@Home Product Design

For those relocating to a new city or town, it can be challenging to navigate that new environment. People new to a city often need to find housing, restaurants, transportation, events to participate in, community, etc, but these can be difficult to find in one space. Resources like Google, Yelp, and Airbnb exist, but there is not a single space where all the information can be accessed. With our app, @Home, users can adjust to their new city quicker than ever before.

My position in the University of Michigan’s VP of Communications department is to help promote the research and works of the University’s staff. Over the past four years I’ve been a part of many projects. Some of my projects include Faculty Reddit AMA’s, the Michigan Today Podcast, and News Roundups.
